Robert E. Howard’s Savage Sword Volume 2 is available today from Dark Horse. It’s a 144 page anthology that collects the various stories from earlier issues into one convenient collection. All three parts of the Dark Agnes story that I was involved in (see previous Dark Agnes posts) are collected back to back. Francesco Francavilla drew Part One and I took over for Parts 2 and 3. Check out this PREVIEW for a little taste of what’s included in this appealing package designed to sate your thirst for savage tales of adventure!

Graphic Novel Excerpt in honor of MLK Day
Jonathan Hennessey, the writer I’ve collaborated with for three graphic novels, posted a 15 page excerpt from our Gettysburg Address Adaptation on his blog in honor of MLK Day. Please go HERE to read this insightful examination of the battle for civil rights following the end of the Civil War.

I took some time off from blogging last month, did you notice? That wasn’t intentional, but I’m finishing the graphic novel that I’ve been working on this year and I guess that preoccupation was to blame for the neglect.
